He said he has tried several motors and the 125s did not produce any more performance in the same atv tyhe 110cc bikes did. Does anyone have experience replacing the engine in a Honda CT 90/110 with a Continuously Variable Transmission similar to what would be found in a twist and go scooter I know this will seem like an odd request, but I am hoping to fix one of these up for my wife and would like to spare her any shifting. I have a friend who works on the small ATVs he makes a living at it. A mighty 125cc, electric starter or hand pull stating, and the dual range sub transmission. start, CDI ignition and 12v electrics and get a huge power and torque upgrade, I recommend going to the trouble to swap in an 84-85 ATC125 engine.

the easiest and least expensive way to do so is to install a Honda clone motor. And, in the last year or two, we've had several guys do the Honda ATC 125M complete engine swap. I have a carb off a ATC 110 Im putting on it.
Do a search on 'Lifan', you'll find a bunch of info. 1985 honda 70.some times swap the 125 lifan for fun 1984 honda 200es 1985 honda 200x atvs: 2013 Honda Rancher 420 ES. A little electrical work, a mounting adapter, and a few other things. and if you get one with a bottom starter, you can have an electric start!!!! Then jsut make sure you make a skidplate so you have the starter protected from damage. 1985 ATC 70 with 110 motor 1985 ATC 110 1983 185s Fatcat conversion project 1985 200s 1986 250ES With Cycle Country Plow 1985 ATC 350x. They pretty much bolt it win a few slight mods as mentioned above. If the cheapo ATV that has much inferier metal supports than the ATC can use 2 rear mounts only, there's no reason your 110 ATC can't.
